Where are you located?
Pregnancy Aid of South King County is located in the historic Oddfellows Building at 730 South 225th Street, Des Moines, Washington 98198.
Are the baby's, children's, and mother's items that you have available truly free?
Yes, all of the items—clothing, diapers, baby wipes, car seats, formula, toys, books, etc.—are truly free with no strings attached. Pregnancy Aid of South King County is here to help you.
Do I need to make an appointment?
It is not necessary to make an appointment. You are welcome to visit us every thirty days during our open hours. Please remember to bring your ID.
What forms of ID are accepted?
We accept all valid forms of ID that include your name and a photo, i.e., driver's license, non-driver photo ID, student ID, passport, passport card.
What types of donations do you accept?
We accept children's clothing and shoes, clean and in good condition, in all sizes from birth up to 6X. We also accept strollers, pack and plays, and other baby gear. Books and toys in clean, good condition are also appreciated. Please bring donations only during open hours.
What items do you need the most?
We always need winter coats for babies and children in all sizes. We also have a great need for diaper wipes and diapers, especially sizes 4, 5 and 6. Other often requested items include: maternity clothes, children's pajamas, new socks and underwear for toddlers and children, infant and toddler-sized sleep and play/blanket sleepers, and pants and jeans for boys and girls.
Are there any items you do not accept?
We are unable to accept donations of large items such as furniture, cribs, swings, and large bouncers. We also cannot accept adult-sized clothing, household items, or bedding.
